Textual analysis on two A2 music videos from another school
Hiya guys, throughout the planning and organising stage of Breathe me, I wanted to gain as many ideas for the location, editing and mise en scene as possible. My A2 media teacher added some great examples of music videos created by A2 students from other schools. I decided to do a textual analysis on two contrasting yet FANTASTIC music videos which may have helped us throughout our editing stage on Breathe me.

Update on Savannah
Hey bloggers, just a quick update from the SaltSisters.
We have been in the process of editing our final production of 'Breathe Me' giving up all our time to make sure it is of the best quality we can make it.
To keep you all updated, we have been tweeting current facts about the music video and we have even created a hashtag for you to keep united as we wait for Savannahs FIRST music video to premier.

Practise CD cover
Hey guys, we have started to create our CD front cover.. Exciting!!
I wanted to create something which would catch the eyes of the public, something with a bit of edge and will definitely sell in the music stores. As this my first time producing something so creative, I needed a little help from a professional. This is where I took to YouTube. I found this video which was a great help when using Photoshop, he explained the basics of creating the front cover and then provided me with extras resulting in the CD cover being that extra special.
I used one of the photos which we previously took whilst filming where Savannah is looking down from the camera. I used different effects to make Sav's name bold and even flipped the V round to give it a little edge. The video taught me how to brighten and darken the photo and make different parts contrast.
We will be creating various CD front covers resulting in us being able to choose one which we like the most. However, this video was a great help.
Speak soon.

Mood board for Breathe Me
Hey guys, the SaltSisters have been so busy with promoting the new and upcoming music video 'Breathe Me'. We have taken over the social media world and now the website, merchandise and final production are our main priority. I wanted to give you guys a little sneak peek of what the website and music video will contain, I hope this mood board will do just that.
The SaltSisters will be working on the website so hopefully it will be up and running by Friday the 17th of March. We will also be counting down the days until the music video is OUT on Twitter and keeping an update on editing on Instagram so keep a look out.
Speak soon guys x
