Hiya guys,
I've been researching a couple of ideas that could be added into our music video to get it as interested as possible. Anyway, I came across a YouTube video that caught my attention it contained 10 popular music videos that was banned from the TV. I found this video very intriguing and has helped me and my other team members.
When I do some more researching for more ideas I will do another blog to keep you all updated.
Talk soon guys!!

Practise task on the poloroid idea
Hey guys, apologies from myself as I haven't uploaded a blog in like... FOUR DAYS.
So anyway as we have decided on the song, genre and the narrative of our music video we can start to practise some fun ideas that we want in our finished product. When looking at some different ideas to put within our video, we have decided to use polaroid images to make it look effective and get our editing skills up to a high standard.
Sav, Brooke and I have been practising a few activities that we want to use within our music video. When researching ideas we have decided to go with taking multiple still images, putting a polaroid background on the shots and then editing these resulting in an affect of the image moving yet short movements.
It took us one lesson to take photos that we used within the polaroid images, we found a wall to have just as a plain background where then Sav and Brooke used the 'burst' effect on my IPhone 6 to take 50+ photos where in each one I moved a little to get that effect of me moving.
After taking the photos, I then downloaded an app 'Instants' and edited the images into the app creating the polaroid background. This looked very effective and worked really well when using premiere pro, this task will really help to support our ideas of our music video.
We did find it quite tricky with the editing part of the task, where we found it easier to download an app and put the photos in the polaroid frame and then download them onto the computer. THIS TOOK AGES BTW!! Premiere Pro was used to put the images together where we had to split the picture duration to around three seconds.
When planning the ideas for our music video, we have added in a variety of places where these polaroid edited images will be placed. They will include past memories of Sav and James (main characters) of them inside, outside and also some other simple shots of Sav on her own- upset about the break up of the relationship.
This idea will hopefully work and make a great affect for our music video, we want to develop on our editing skills more and enhance the way we work together as a team to a achieve a successful music video.
We will be using this effect on the final piece of the outside shots resulting in this practise task helping us out a lot before having to take part in this project on our A2 music video.
Anyway, enjoy the practise video and you will be hearing from me soon.

One page pitch- A2 music video
HEY bloggers,
this blog is going to be a little cringey yet exciting for most of us. The final one page pitch is finally on YouTube, we wanted to explain the final music video ideas yet didn't want to give too much detail anyway. We hope you enjoy the pitch, oh and also ignore the gorm faces I pull throughout... not the best angle LOL!
speak soon guys xox

Insprirations for our final music video
Hey, just a little update on how the research and planning is going for our music video.
We wanted to start to research different ideas for our music video, collecting inspirations for what backgrounds would look best to shoot a variety of shots. We believe artists such as Ariana Grande gives us the most realistic look we are going for.
We are wanting to go for something simple but effective to show off our talent in this subject, resulting in these videos giving us the best ideas.

A little help when using Photoshop
Hey guys,
we have a task to take a variety of shots and edit them on photoshop, adding different backgrounds, writing and fonts. I believe this will be quite difficult at the start as I haven't used this program before. I decided to look up how to use photoshop to make this task easier for me.
This video will hopefully help me and my group with any technical difficulties in the future.
